Heating and cooling Schools Program
Overview
Starting from the Royal High Initiative, the King Abdullah II Initiative, may God protect him for heating and cooling schools in the Kingdom, the Fund has developed a heating and cooling program for schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education in order to provide the appropriate educational environment in the classroom.
The education sector is one of the most important sectors that can be worked on in the field of rationalization of energy and renewable energy because of its direct impact on the educational environment for students and their academic achievement in partnership with all stakeholders and interested partners, as the program looks to include 2600 A government school, through which energy efficiency measures are implemented, installation of cooling and heating systems, general maintenance of buildings and classrooms, changing windows and doors, installing solar heaters systems to secure the school's hot water needs, installing photovoltaic cells covering the entire electrical consumption of the school, in addition to launching a campaign Comprehensive awareness of students, teachers, and the local community about energy saving and renewable energy conservation applications.
