Overview
Lighting constitutes 30% of the domestic energy consumption, and thus work to save energy within this field is feasible and has a direct impact on the citizen's monthly electricity bill. Based on this concept, the fund designed a project to replace energy-efficient LED lighting units with old units in homes, and developed this project. Within the concept of energy demand management from the consumer side Demand Side Management, which requires the approval of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission and the direct implementation of the three distribution companies in Jordan.
