The worship buildings are considered one of the important buildings in terms of the high consumption of electric energy, as number of mosques in the Kingdom reached 6610 mosques, according to the annual book issued by the Department of Statistics for the year 2017, and the number of churches reached more than 100 churches in the Kingdom; Therefore, JREEEF encourages the use of renewable energy technology applications to reduce electricity consumption in this sector, and to create an appropriate environment for worshippers. The process of installing the system would be a 50 % from the worship place local comity , 25 % JREEEF and the ministry of awqaf and Islamic affairs.
